Yes agree goblin machine maybe should have 4 second hitspeed instead of nerfing the damage, the nerfs they want to apply are harsh I think.

dude, the cards that they have nerfed have had a high usage rate for way too many seasons now. look at the other win cons in top 200, they all have a below average usage rate! they have risen every once in a while because of their counter-play to the meta or their synergy with a new released broken card. but the cards they nerfed have been a staple to the meta for a long time now. nerfing these cards doesn’t mean a narrower meta, in fact they aren’t going to be dead, at worst below average. just cus you spent a lot of money on a broken deck, doesn’t mean that the deck has to dodge a nerf.

i think goblin cage is for consistency reasons, it probably will not effect the card what so ever, cus you have to use the normal cage to get the evo, and the normal cage isnt that bad.

bomber is only seen in drill and goblin giant decks, and they dont want to nerf the cards very harshly.

OR the side im more leaning on which is drill and bomber’s evos are getting a rework or a buff soon, and they just pre-nerfed the card itself, either because they want everyone to NEED the evo to be able to push easily in the meta or that its just for balancing purposes of the evo, after all they probably are play testing stuff for 2 or even 3 seasons ahead.

OOOOR they are releasing a very broken card soon, that synergizes with these cards very badly and they just wanted to pre-nerf these card, which they have done before.

if its for the evos they might revert the nerfs with community backlash.

Leave my goblin drill alone :sob: only reason it was good was because the suport troops and evo snowball now its gonna be even worse in my deck

All the people wanting prince and boss bandit nerfs, are we even playing the same game? Those cards arent even that strong lol

I know minions are getting nerfed but can we please see a pheonix buff? The card is kinda just “mega minion but slightly different and kinda worse”

The bomber nerf is just kinda, wierd. I dont think it really needs it but if yall want it i suggest a buff to the evo bomber so its not bottom 2 evos in the game like it has been.

I really like the furnace nerf but im concerned that it wont do that much, i would prefer a range nerf as it would make the card less frustrating.

Thats a decently big nerf for evo cage, im not sure about it but im open to it, its been underated and straight up amazing for forever

Do ice golem and evo barbs need a compensatory buff for the change to slowdowns/rages? Maybe i hope they consider it.

Make it make sense. Other changes are fine for the most part, suprized still no buffs for rune giant and other cards with insanely low usage rates.

Although I agree with the Evo nerf, the goblin giant nerf is just an overkill. It reminds me about the giant Nerf a long time ago. At that time the void and evo wizard were super broken; a perfect spell and a strong supportive card created a perfect storm for a beatdown meta. Now with the broken spell like vine and goblin curse, the strong support cards like Goblin Machine and Prince, a similar situation just happened again. Just nerf the spell and support card and leave big tank alone!

the problem is that prince, mini pekka, bandit, boss bandit is way to prevalent

dart goblin needs urgently a nerf. even with everyone having vines it is strong present in the meta.

evo barbs and cage are one of the least played evos, the nerf is unnecessary. evo valk is only good because of OP evo witch so another nerf that is really bad.

it should be a crime to have a balance change update without buffs. give us something to look forward testing out even if its barbarian hut, rune giant, void, mirror… goblin drill evo has been the worst evo for a while.. its also shocking to see cards like prince and boss bandit escape this set of changes without a nerf. a real bummer to see the towel thrown on baby dragon evo with the cycle change already, think it couldve gone by longer without that kind of a change as it gets redundant dang near every card needing 2 cycles (make a smaller speed/slow window maybe instead)

The Giant Goblin Nerf is too much, the Golem is missing a Nerf, they need to nerf the Goblin Machine’s Rocket range, the Berserker’s HP nerf is missing, they haven’t nerfed the tower damage of all spells yet, Evo executioner nerf is missing…, they need to rework the Witch Evo’s HP recovery (Golden Knight with Dash, which in theory should counter it, now just heals it), the Prince is missing a Nerf, the Minipekka is missing a Nerf, the Goblin Cage nerf is unjustified, the Goblin Hut nerf is unjustified (it’s only used in one deck and shouldn’t die from lightning), the Tesla Evo nerf is missing, the cannon nerf should be different (the main problem is the barrage range and impossibility to avoid between tiles, and it requires no skill in the positioning), the Furnace is still a nerf to be seen (I don’t know what to think about it).

For the rest, I think everything is fine, obviously not considering the many cards that deserve buffs, but given that it’s a balance change based solely on nerfs, it’s pretty good 🙂‍↕

There are a few nerfs which I don’t think should be done, such as Goblin Drill, Guards and Skeletons, a few nerfs to certain cards that I think should be done, such as Prince and Boss Bandit.

  1. Goblin Drill. Goblin Drill decks aren’t the most popular, especially in the current meta. Nerfing the Goblin drill, may decrease its usage rate even more. Instead, I feel that the evolved goblin drill should be buffed. People rather use normal gob drill than evo gob drill. Evo gob drill should, instead of popping down and up, have a much faster surfacing time upon deployment and deal minor damage every 2 seconds that can only kill skeletons.
  2. Guards. They are already perfectly balanced, not too difficult to counter. I feel like the nerf is unnecessary.
  3. Skeletons. This nerf is really random and unnecessary. I don’t really think anyone is complaining much about skeletons in their current state.
  4. Evolved Witch. Simply continuously nerfing her is definitely not a good option. Instead of focusing on the heal per skeleton, a suitable nerf would be to directly nerf her maximum hit points instead.
  5. Prince. Prince has always been an overpowered card for its elixir cost and is very versatile. It is mostly countered by tanky units which deal high or decent damage like MK and Pekka but for a negative elixir trade, or swarm units which deal high dps combined, but are weak to spells. The charge time for prince should be nerfed from 2 seconds to 2.5/3 seconds and its speed during charging should be nerfed from 120 to 100 to allow players to have sufficient time to react.
  6. Boss Bandit. An extremely overpowered Champion card which is really annoying to face. Although it may be considered to be balanced by top players, facing p2ws using this is hard in mid ladder. Boss Bandit should have a nerf to her damage or hit points.
  7. Evolution Baby Dragon. Nerfing the number of cycles from 1 to 2 would definitely make some who bought the pass royale mad. Instead of harshly nerfing it, I hope supercell does consider how overpowered a card or evolution will and can be in arena with various decks before adding it in the game. If the evo baby dragon were to have a 1 cycle on its release, I’d say it is fair.
