WIP Balance Changes for March 2024 (Season 57)

Goblin giant is, its just too good for 6 elixir and with sparky and evo knight its just unstoppable it maybe only my deck or skill issue (i dont think any of these is the reason) but its just kinda no skill too with its use rate.

I don’t care how hogrider is, what matters to me is playing against varied decks, and I’ve been playing alone for two months against Hogrider + earthquake and against cemetery tornado, or miner poison. But 8 of 10 games i play against hog + earthquake

Agreed, hog rider always hits the tower on like 1% hp, even with the cannoneer tower when you place specific cards which would slow the hog down and buy time for the tower to do damage, it doesn’t and instead it gets left on 1% hp, usually dying before the animation even finishes. As a Pekka bridgespam minions player I really want the Pekka buff and feel its needed as Pekka BS is hard to play against cycle decks .

dude balance change doesn’t work like that. every deck has a counter. it’s a hard counter to your deck but it doesn’t mean it’s op. just look at the card stats in grand challenge. 10% usage and 51% win. there are evos with +30% usage and higher winrate. tell me how many decks can use evo RR and actually work? you are the biased one.

then why everyone in top ladder are not using it and prefer other evos? that’s not true. people are used to call everything no skill specially when they are not playing it.

LP does not need another nerf. He was given free to everyone, so of course you’re gonna see a lot of usage rate.

Monk’s ability activation should be buffed so that you can react to a spell instead of him only being viable if you’re good at predictions.

Evo Skellies do need a nerf. They provide too much value to a deck only for 1 elixer.

Evo Valk buff is great and on point.

Evo Royal Recruits don’t need another nerf or it’ll be better not even using an evo slot for them.

Gob Giant doesn’t need a nerf; it combos well with rage but without support troops it’s just an average card.

Evo knight nerf solid; because it practically brings lots of value to any deck it’s put into.

GK, Pekka, and Evo Ice spirit are good buffs.

Evo bomber should die to log, I mean the rascal girls do and then that just makes a useless mini tank that cost 5 elixer.

Magic Archer should remain as is.

And the drill rework is cool, the card just gets countered too easily.

you just can’t see the real problem? you are under leveled without an evo and what did you expect? to compete with others? and because it’s a hard counter to you and you lose to it. they should nerf it? what’s the logic behind this?

oh yeah because I lose to miner cycle they should nerf bomb tower and any other card in that deck? please try to be reasonable.

you think RR is a win con? bring me an actual deck with RR and no other win con. who said the card is a win con? it’s always used with GG or skelly barrel with wall breakers or balloon.

Mb it isnt a win condition but it is always a pilar of the deck. A 7 elixir card with a 10% use rate is a lot. If u saw evo rr as often as evo knight this game would be unplayable

When will the Wizard be buffed? In every balance change, people ask this question, including me, but the balance team ignores us.

Bowler, sparky, evo skellies, hog, golem, where’s the nerfs

evo knight nerf is perfect
little prince nerf is good
royal recruits nerf is alright
evo bomber should instead get a rework that buffs some of its stats but make it 2 cycles
goblin giant nerf isn’t necessary
evo ice spirit buff is brilliant
evo Valkyrie buff is good
magic archer buff isn’t necessary
P.E.K.K.A buff is good
Golden knight is a bit much, I think it should instead be about 8/9 seconds instead of 7
Monk buff is brilliant
and goblin drill rework shouldn’t reduce the health

also evo wall breakers should be nerfed by reducing the death damage radius

Balance Changes are missing these things:
Bowler nerf, such as a small hp reduction
Evo Bomber to 2 cycles
Evo Wall Breaker nerf, such as a runner damage reduction
Cannoneer nerf, such as a range decrease
Tornado nerf, such as a radius reduction
Log nerf, such as a distance and knockback nerf
Miner nerf, such as a tower damage reduction

Knight: Reduce his hitpoints not hitspeed, keep the damage nerf

Little Prince: Reduce the ability knockback as well, defends every win condition by itself besides air

Evo Recruits: Double their charge distance and give them back their 2x multiplier, keep the damage nerf but give them a hitspeed buff

Goblin Giant: Perfect

Evo Bomber: Must be 2 Cycles, and reduce the splash radius of bounces as well

Ice Spirit: Make the radius 2.5/3 tiles, have the extra freezes happen faster and slow units in-between. This is the WORST evo ever released to date.

Valkyrie: Good, however reducing it to 10% hitpoints and giving her Tornado attack enough damage to kill Bats/Skeletons would be better honestly. Rather see that happen over a full 15% hp.

Magic Archer: Perfect (please nerf Tornado though)

Pekka: Perfect, at least for now (may need hp buff in the future)

Golden Knight: Really good change, I think it’s only a start to what changes he really needs though (2x dash damage, longer initial dash range, same secondary dash range)

Monk: Amazing. With that said he is completely oppressive against decks that don’t use enough melee cards, and completely useless against decks with too many melee cards. Rework his ability to not counter as many ranged troops for a massive elixir gain, but to be more versatile with high pressure decks such as Bridge Spam, Hog and Balloon. Suggestion could be a shorter duration, but faster activation and cooldown.

Goblin Drill: Keep the hp increase, lose the other two and replace with a faster travel speed instead. Then it’s perfect.
