WIP Balance Changes for October 2023 (Season 52)

it has it as hits per second rather than seconds per hit (or hit speed). More hits per second is better, think attacking 4 times in a second vs once. So yeah it’s a nerf but formatted weirdly.

buffs and nerfs need separate vote
marcher doesnt need 2 nerfs
2 elixir gobs should be seperate nerfs from gang, barrel, drill
and buff pekka

I think I can speak for 99% of the community (that doesn’t use mega knight) when I say we are sick and TIRED of playing against this stupid no skill card. It’s every. Single. Game. I quit for an entire year and just came back to see supercell STILL somehow refuses to nerf/rework/delete this stupid no skill card. Getting mid ladder players to not use the card will NOT make them quit the game. It will encourage them to learn other skillful decks and watch tutorials and help turn them from a casual to an above average player that doesn’t rely on a card they can drop anywhere on the map on defense and kill everything. There is no reason I should be playing against ANY card 5+ games in a row. During a tournament I faced it 8 times in a row… that is ridiculous. It’s boring and repetitive even if I win all 5. As far as top ladder/pro play goes a no skill card like MK should have no part in comp. Please for the love of god Supercell fix your game. We don’t want to play the same card every single match.

No because then they will be forced to nerf their precious mega knight and they have a delusional idea that if that happens, 50% of the player base will quit over night instead of just learning to play an actual skillful deck

If this is how the balance changes are going to work why doesn’t it include every card with a possible buff/nerf? If you want to let the players decide then let the players decide all the way…. I feel like if MK was on this list for example it would be towards the top of the votes (would be at the very top of votes didn’t include the people who only use MK) we are sick of playing that same card every single game. It’s boring even when you win against it

:x: Tornado is not broken, it is skilled and nerfing it will just completly kill the card for good, think about all the interraction that will not je possible anymore (King’s tower activations, x-bow connections, …)

:x: Gobelins nerf will kill gobelin gang, barrel and drill, it is not a good choice…

:x: Ice spirit should have the same range as other spirits, if every spirits start acting differently it will just be so damn annoying

:x: Giant buff isn’t very necessary, some others cards need a buff more than him

:heavy_check_mark: Ballon death bomb is almost impossible to prevent and deal too much damages

:heavy_check_mark: Minion hordes should be harder to kill with splash damage, to make the card more useful and different from 3 elexir minions

:heavy_check_mark: Ice golem need his buff, it is overshadow by knight

I think Evo Skeletons at least need a rework, not a buff. Sure, they are an underwhelming evolution, but get a lot of value for 1 elixir and can shred towers if not dealt with properly. I think Evo Skeletons shouldn’t have the ability to multiply on crown towers, as that results into unfair snowballing for the cycle card. But since its weak statistically, increasing the count from 6 to 8 would help the card, but as a player of this evo I struggle to find myself displeased with their strength anymore. 2 Cycles is often just the right amount of frecuency for me to enjoy the cards position.

This however much a good idea it seems. Is a terrible one. No matter how much you think it’ll be different everyone is just going to vote to buff what they play and vote to neef whatever counter their deck or they dont like playing against. And guess whose doing most of the voting. The majority of players arent pros or even high ladder players.

nah it’s already been nerfed inderactly way too much lastly. Nowadays it’s way more difficult to play e-golem then it was 1 year ago. ( From a player who has been playing e-golem for the last two years :))

Magic archer needs a nerf, but all of these solve it in the wrong way. The main reason marcher is so broken is because of the chip on the towers imo. Could all be solved by nerfing its crown tower damage like miner.

disagree. Inferno tower buff is defenitely unnecessary. Bomber buff, Ice golem buff, giant buff and hunter buff all seem valid

totally agree. besides maybe the giant. Giant is just so much worse than goblin giant
