WIP Balance Changes for May 2024 (Season 59)

I think they should buff Evo Knight hit speed back to 1.1 second

Imo the Evo firecracker hp nerf is decent but with all the other buffs it is getting it would be a little to good. But this nerf would bring arrows usage rates hella high next season especially because there’s a possibility of evo archers dying to arrows as well. So with this nerf happening and your opponent has evo firecracker it’s game over if you don’t have arrows… Evo valk nerf is unnecessary and though I use it in my main deck this is not a bias take. The Evo valk isn’t that good and the hp buff last 2 seasons ago was decent but not enough to be even close to equal to Evo knight. With the skeletons nerf the card will be absolute garbage because the recent emergency nerf it got completely killed the card, if anything, it needs a pretty big buff. Tesla buff is fine, goblin drill nerf is alright, rg didn’t need the nerf, I’m so happy about the evo bomber nerf becaause that shi’s broken. The other ones are fine but reply to me on this take.

Bomber does not need a nerf. People just dont know how to deal with it.
None of the evos need rework.
Firecracker should not be buffed/reworked. It should not shoot poison.

All evolutions should have training matches like the tower troops and little prince.

Lot of balance changes are good, but some of them are completely unnecessary, now evo firecracker and evo archers die to arrows? This so bad even that they countered by fireball makes them useless too but now, its worse and we will see arrows much more even that it is widely used right now.

There are much more cards that needs a nerf but these needs a nerf more then others:
1- night witch: there is nothing to say about it, you know why
2- poison: i dont think i need to say anything about it either
3- dagger douches: its getting nerf but i think its better to nerf its damage or reload speed or something like that would be better
4- evo bomber: increasing cycle to 2 is a decent nerf but still doesn’t make it a balanced evolution, even now with this nerf it still can change the side of winner and be broken enough to be in many of decks, i think it needs a nerf in bounces too
5- evo knight: it is still broken even with recent nerfs and now its getting a buff? Man who thinks about these balances
6- little prince: you need to nerf the ability’s radius or little prince hp so he can dies to fireball even it can be countered by poison but i think its better to nerf the ability
7- battle healer: its needs a nerf on almost everthing and its better to get a damage buff too
8- evo tesla (and normal tesla): normal tesla is broken enough, evo tesla makes it more, i think it needs a base nerf like hp.

Oh i forgot about elixir golem, man its damage on tower is very high and i think needs a massive nerf on it.

I do not agree. Evolutions should not have any HP buffs, you should not be able to rely on an evolution however i have no Idea why they didn’t decide to nerf the evo knight more since its better than both firecracker and evo archers.
1 Night witch was Irrelevant before dagger duchess and cannonner does not need a nerf

Nerf golem, its so broken.
Nerf royal recruits, probably the most nasty card
Nerf the mega knight, every single player uses it, im tired of it
Nerf elite barbarians, they are strong as hell
Zap should kill all small cards like goblins or minions, it needs a buff
Buff cannon or it will be useless
Buff triple mousquetaire, 9 elixir for such a killable card is not worth it
Buff valkyrie, if not everyone is going to prefer knight or royal ghost

Also elixir golem is so broken, its super cheap, it tanks a lot and can deal lots of damage

Dagger Duchess needs a 30% health nerf or your 14% nerf + she needs to lose 2 dagger, her output damage is too high.
Cannoner needs a buff not a nerf, so give that 5% buff in attack.
For all the crybaby with no skill that are crying for the firecracker and archer health nerf, now you have to swtich that toxic card with a balanced and a skilled one, so i hope to not see you again on clash royale.
All the other evos buffs andd nerfs are on point, except the knight that if anything needs a nerf a dn the firecracker that need a nerf in the damage stats and not another buff.
PLEASE HELP THAT LITTLE ICE WIZARD, HE IS ALONE IN THIS TOXIC WORLD

-Dagger Duchess nerf is NOT enough
-Cannoneer needed a buff, not a nerf
-ice wizard area damage buff
-evo firecracker with less range shot. PLS nerf it not buff it(more damage is terrible)
-evo knight damage reduction is too much, he doesnt need any buff/nerf
-evo royale recruits are too op
-nerf the little prince speed shots

Evo ice spirit has to get a buff it’s currently one of the worst evos in the game

it trades 1 more elixir for swarm and 100 damage compared to musketeer

Evo zap should at most have same damage as arrows. Being like an arrows with 3 stuns and big radius, that is too strong and should be enough.

More than that then it will feel like a royal delivery, which will be too strong

I almost agree with t.moony in every cards changes, you seem wise. I still want to add spawners to the list to be reworked, they are too weak.

DAGGER DUCHESS :

should have total daggers nerfed AND slower dagger recharge time.

Even after hp nerf she will be the strongest tower troop and is so broken. Her high damage to troops is the problem.

I suggest also she do less overall damage to a single heavy tank, compared to princess tower. Or, another rework might do what is needed to nerf her.

All changes look good. Exactly how it feels evos should primarily be… about the unique special ability they have and not just slapping on extra hp and damage on top of the unique ability, that’s how they become game breakingly OP. Of course I own and use many of the evolutions getting nerfed, but I’m still happy about these changes as they’re much needed for the competitive integrity of the game especially with 2 evo slots now.

Dagger duchess could still use a nerf to its damage profile, with the hp nerf it will still be far and away the best tower troop. The damage profile is just so strong and so much better than princess/cannoneer. Reducing the max daggers to 6-7 instead of 8 seems like the best way to slightly nerf the damage profile.

Firecracker isn’t balanced with not dying to arrows. Needing 5+ elixir of spells to kill it for many decks without fireball/poison. Evos should be mainly about their unique special ability and have no extra health/damage(or very little like the knight/valk). Evo mortar is one of only 3 evolutions I have unlocked and levelled and I’m still happy to see all these bonus hp nerfs to the evos because they ruin the game being WAY too strong, they should be a slight boost through the unique ability and that’s it. For firecracker that is the significant amount of extra damage the sparks do to towers and troops… making it way tankier on top of that isn’t balanced

The two evolutions you have most levelled are the firecracker and archers…… clearly only bias here

As an Evo mortar owner and user I can actually put my bias aside and recognize the significant extra hp it has is busted, and I’m completely ok with the nerf because they’re nerfing all the other OP evos as well.

Agree with moon points. And Magic archer may actually need that rework.
