The records they achieved are kept forever. If someone was level 9 and they achieved a record, that record does not go away even if they are now level 26 or 27.
To put it a different way, let’s say a record is held by John when he was 15-years-old. He will not lose his record achieved at 15-years-old just because he is now 45-years-old.
