Global Tournament Game Modes

There are many game modes that have been featured in Global Tournaments, but do they all have the same relevance? Help us rate how competitive each mode is!

Some key factors that you might want to keep in mind are:

  • Skill needed to win
  • Randomness
  • How familiar they are for most players

Note: we might use these results as a guide for future features, like Global Tournament Rating.

In the following categories you’ll be asked to rate the game modes from 0 to 4, which mean:

  • 0: completely casual and random
  • 4: fully skilful and competitive

megadraft requires the most skill imo

honestly regular 1v1 doesn’t even require too much skill with the current matchmaking, it’s just constant snipes and weird matchups

every gt is way too much match up dependent

Technically mirror is the most skilled cuz both players have the same decks and starting hand so its literally the most EVEN a matchup can be

Ciao miao blaze

no bro drapht is the most no skill mode only bot win because they have hc the true skill is with true deck and not with random deck

Don’t understand how people think mirror isnt the most skilled. It’s literally the most balanced game mode possible. Guess this shows that many people don’t understand what skill means…

Why is Ramp Up Elixir so Underrated? There almost any deck can shine and gradually tests your level of skill as the elixir increases…

Completely agree. Unlike regular battles it doesn’t force you against bad matchups and adds a whole new strategy aspect in deckbuilding

There are times where the first or second to pick may be favoured, though. Especially if the spell selection is limited

mega draft and mirror

mirror and mega draft most skill always been that way

mirror is the most skill and unsnipable, they could better out the mode by putting meta decks in the deck pool instead of whatever random decks the mode gives you.

You should add 7x elixir mode in tournament option, Modes like(lumberjack rush, heist draft, rage etc are there who anyone barely plays. Why not 7x, Add it in tournament option

That’s true for only a small majority of people that are top 50 i.e.

What about adding the ban mode duel to gt? You ban 2 decks and pick 1. Would be fun and something new

Mega Draft and Mirror are the most skilled game mode, no cap

what the hell is mini collection

Almost every game modes require many skill. Why people think that draft modes doesn’t take skill it’s also important to now how to choose your carts and . And rage game take many skill but is easier to say that your opponents has noskill than saying you don’t now how to play.

What’s mini collection
