Explanation of the analysis:
Before I begin to explain each point , I want to highlight , as I have always done in my 2 previous publications to this , the work of Royale API .
Undoubtedly, it is the birth of Clash Royale. The Swiss army knife of the game , and the panacea for any problem that has " X " Player .
Not only that the website gives us information on the entire database , but also engaged in tracking / analysis that , for the curious , awakens reflection and understanding of things . A grateful thanks to SML , and all his team work .
Now , I think this published analysis is very interesting , and sincerely wanted to complement it with certain personal observations that I have devoted myself to do in a period , not less than , to 1 hour and a half .
To begin with , the composition of this explanation is narrated in 3 aspects :
1 ) To understand which countries have been, and are video game powers , as well as those countries that were , but , today , are no longer so in the strong competitive level .
2 ) How the world top in terms of nations has evolved over the last 5 years.
3 ) Which deck models were played during the last 3 years , and which Archetypes were more pronounced , this is very interesting as it gives us a general idea of how have been the balance changes decided by Supercell .
Now, to begin with, the competitive aspect of Clash Royale in terms of countries is very simple to identify, the powers are very well defined, which are: Mexico, Egypt, and Brazil. Then there are other countries with a huge competitive power, such as Japan, France, Germany, and Russia.
For its part , Spain , in recent years , has ceased to be competitive power , and moved to a more " casual " plane , while still having strong players but that , rarely , reach the top 10 ( Jp , Bale , Kanariooo , Ruben , etc ) .
For its part , the country with the highest comparative decline from 2018 to 2023 , was Russia . In turn , South Korea , in contrast to the previous year , suffered a serious decline . Turkey , in 2023 , rose for the first time with a single player , in its entire history , as top 1 , and is emerging as a nation that could be back in the strong plane . Poland and the Dominican Republic are the revelations of 2023.
Finally , with regard to the decks / Archetypes , we perceive a brutal hegemony of the " Control " model , standing out prominently , as the main victory condition , the miner .
This shows that Supercell’s balance changes are not being adjusted efficiently in the community and that therefore, the company should review more analytically, the impact of their decisions on players. An example of this can be seen in how Elixir Golem decks, or even those of bait, are not in the list, showing how these Archetypes are being left in the competitive oblivion .
