Question about battle types

Hello,

I wanted to know exactly which battles correspond to “Normal Battles”? Because if I understand correctly:

Ladder = Trophy Road only?

Ranked = From the first step to the last step?

Ultimate Champion = All ranked battles after the last step of Ultimate Champion?

So if my reasoning is correct, only “Classic 1v1” and “1v1 Battle” (between friends or in our clan) can be considered “Normal Battles”?

But that seems strange to me because it’s in this mode that Royal API provides us with by far the largest number of results (almost 50 million battles in 7 days), and I would be surprised if so many battles were fought in these two types of battles, which are not competitive at all.

There must be something I’m not understanding.

Hi, ladder and ranked are both subsets of normal battles. Ultimate champion is a subset of ranked.

Normal battle refers more to the battle type than the battle mode
