Better chest rewards maybe. They are very outdated

This a great idea

A draft mode ladder so that there is a game mode that fully achieves f2p. all cards are lvl 11 and everyone gets 2 evolution spots much like tournament mode. Only skill matters and maybe a little bit of luck because draft options are random which also makes every game feel unique.

My suggestion is a complete redesign of the current end-of-match reward system, which currently gives one chest every win based on a fix chest cycle. Its massive downside is that you need to wait long amounts of time (minimum 8 hours at higher trophy leagues) to unlock one chest, and you can only store 4 of them, so in the end, you can’t even gain a lot of chests in a short amount of time. There have already been some improvements to this system, such as adding a Pass Royale perk which makes you able to queue a second chest, and not having to log in to start its unlock. The biggest help has been undoubtedly the introduction of Chest Keys in 2021, which allow one chest to be opened instantly after unlock. However, they’re a pretty rare magic item (without Pass Royale), and the issue with chests still exists and still is a problem. I am suggesting a new system, which gets rid of the timers, and offers a better way to limit chest access, but still allow players to get multiple chests in quick succession, if they only have a small time to play Clash Royale every day.

I know that Supercell has already communicated with players in the past about a possible chest rework, and I have no idea how far into development is it, but I believe that my system can offer a near-perfect solution to the current issues with end-of-battle Chests.

I think Squad Busters’ “Chest ticket” system could work really well, where you get 1 ticket every 2 hours, and you can store 3 this way, but can get more for coins/gems in the shop. (These would obviously bypass the limit of 3.) However, unlike in Squad Busters, you would still only get a chest for winning. You could see how many tickets you have below the “Battle” button. Ladder, PoL, CW2, and Events would share the pool of chest tickets. Buying the Pass Royale would offer a perk to store 2 extra Chest tickets with the bi-hourly collection system. (This is to replace the chest queueing perk.)

A basic ticket gives a golden chest (no more silver chests), but you can also get a “royal chest ticket”, which gives you a royal wild chest (maybe you could get one of these tickets monthly in the season shop). You could select for your next win to give a Royal Wild Chest by tapping on your Chest tickets where they’re displayed (below the “Battle” button, kind of like how players could switch between ladder and PoL when the ranked mode was first added to the game).

There is no more chest cycle, since every ticket gives a golden chest. Giant, Magical, and Epic chests could completely be removed from this system, since they just give more cards than golden chests (and you already get more golden chests). However, they would still be rewards in the pass, like they are now. (Except Epic chests, but their removal doesn’t affect the game much, since you can get a lot of Epics with wild cards and in the shop for a small amount of Gold.) Legendary chests could permanently be removed, because they’re just useless, since legendaries became way more common from different sources.

Gold crates’ rewards can just be put inside golden chests (they would still exist in the pass).
Same with tower troop chests, maybe a tower troop would be a guaranteed drop from golden chests.
Mega lightning chests maybe could also be a reward with the royal chest ticket, or could have their own type of ticket, but I’m not sure, so I’ll leave it up for discussion (or Supercell, if this idea somehow gets forwarded).

When new players start the game, they would still be awarded (lower level) Golden chests in the tutorial, marking the true end of Wooden chests.

Since Chest Keys would have no use in this new system, my replacement for them is Chest Doublers (again, from Squad Busters). However, instead of doubling the content of one chest, it would give you 2 Golden chests for one win. They wouldn’t work with Royal Chest Tickets for obvious reasons. They would be number-based, not time-based.

When you enter a new Arena, all your Chest tickets could be instantly refilled, and some Chest doublers could also be awarded (Maybe they could be time-based, like in the current system with the speed-up boost).

Chests could still be stored under a new tab in the “Collections” menu, the “Vault”, if you want to hoard them. When getting a chest reward, a “Vault Chest” button appears at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to save that chest for later.

If the Goblin Queen’s Journey still exists when this system would get added, it could have its own type of chest tickets.

This system would also reward Supercell financially, since players can spend Gems on tickets alongside Gold. The price of one regular Chest ticket could be 10000 Gold or 50 Gems (Note: The current gem price for opening a Golden chest at unlock is 48 gems, but with all the extra rewards put inside it, I think it warrants this price point.) A Royal chest ticket could cost 500 gems. Multiple Royal chest tickets could be bought for real money, and they could also appear in special offers. (Maybe regular tickets in bulk could also appear in special IAP offers.)

Also, a little extra idea: Golden chests could have a “bonus item”, like it once was with Brawl Boxes. The bonus could be trade tokens, banner tokens, or maybe even gems.

I have replied once already but I have another suggestion I wish to add that i’ve wanted for a while
adding the current Event in the events tab to friendly battles, like for example the current evolution bonzana mode, for 1v1 and 2v2 if they support both modes.
based on how the events tab modes work there are 3 different types of modes, here’s how it can work for all of them

  1. Draft modes, these are pretty simple, if it’s draft around a tower troop, like the dutchess draft challenge earlier this year, it’ll use that tower troop for both players like it does in the events tab. if it’s not, like the evolution goblin cage draft earlier this season, it’ll use whatever tower troop is currently equipped in your trophy road deck.
  2. modes that copy your current trophy road deck, like Love Sparks earlier this year. These will still work the same and copy your currently equipped trophy road deck.
  3. “Build-a-deck” modes, like the current Evolution Bonzana. This can either be using whatever deck you have set up for 1v1/2v2 in that mode (and doing the default thing for when you open that menu without one built if you don’t have one built or block them from doing that friendly battle), or use your currently equipped trophy road deck, as this mode usually has a required card that’ll replace your top left card.
    I think this would be a great idea as it’ll be a lot of fun to mess around with your friends versing each other in whatever goofy modes clash royale currently has avaliable!

Not a really big fan of the Recent goblins update. I have been using certian cards like Giant Skeleton Hog rider musketeer Night Witch Minion Horde in my deck, there have been significant updates to all the cards which have been working against this deck making it impossible for me to win eg and executioner with a tornado just kills everything…a pekka will fully counter them all…and with this upcoming evo of pekka its more difficult than ever…so just hoping that GS or Hog get a buff or an evo which makes it possible to play…looking forward to win this giveaway! Never had a royal pass till date…will await your reply!!

more f2p friendly events and fix the match up system

As a f2p player we need more chance to get evolution shid and we need a perfect match making, better clan war features.We need some changes in 2 vs 2 match.

Clan wars rework and new type of ladders. We have also barbarians, skeletons and others…

Triple Draft and Mega Draft should be permanently available modes in 1v1 and Draft/Triple Draft should be a permanent mode for 2v2. Being forced to pay 50 gems just to play a draft mode is kind of annoying.

I wish to return the purchase of cards in the seasonal store without being restricted by the type of card

A single player story mode would be cool! :relieved:

-I think if you already an evo unlocked … the season shop evo which is available should turn to into normal shards instead ewc so that players can actually use the shards for other evolutions.

  • I think hero equipments like in COC should be introduced into the game but like it should be used just a single time in the battle so it changes the dynamics of the game.
    -Lastly they should revert the boost potion allowing a whole deck max for an hr instead of just one card also a new item can be introduced allowing player to use an evo for 1hr which he/she doesn’t have! ( also to avoid gaining advantage this items won’t stack and you only have 8 of them with you.)

I wish the card would not be specified in the seasonal store so that I can modify the card that I want and not the one that the game wants
