Beatdown are for noskill

Just like the narrative “kitchens are for the women” created from the society dominated by men, the myth that beatdowns are for no skill is created by the Clash community dominated by cycle players. Even noob nowdays doesn’t play beatdown anymore. Imagine a noob learning some old wisdom that night witch giant combo are great. The first time he has a chance to deploy it, he gets solo skill by the f****** Evo Valkyries. what could he do? Should he spend more to cancel the effect of the Valkyrie? What could he spend to take out that tank? (not a easy task to dps a tanky unit down). The opponent already has a 5-elixir advantage to cancel whatever next he do,should he continue the push?. Those questions are not easy to answer, and this early experiment with big risk and low reward will traumatize this kid for life to never touch this archetype again. Noobs nowadays are more likely to play spam bait decks with a carefree strategy (even if the bait is destroyed, it doesn’t matter; just throw another wave in anyway, and if things go wrong, just use some broken evo to bail you out). Those kind of things are the healthiest way to play in the meta that is so oppressive and punishable for the big attacker. And some people still have the nerve to argue that spam baits are toxic. Maybe it’s true, but it is the least toxic in that pool of poison out there, which is call the evolution meta.
